RM: This is book one of The House On Silk Street Series. I call it regency with a twist. The series focuses on a specific house in Regency London, similar to what we'd call a BDSM club today I guess. Each book is stand alone, but they are linked so would be best read in the correct order. As this is book one, that's a given!
Silver Silk Ties … Blurb
Araminta knew what she wanted, and being left on her wedding night was not it. Finding her husband in the notorious house on Silk Street, she hoped her luck had changed. Perhaps this would not be the marriage of convenience she feared. If only she could persuade him that she was indeed the sub he needed.
Meeting his new wife at the one place all deep dark desires could be satisfied, Felton wondered if he had been mistaken? Was this a marriage of mutual passion and ideals? Would she truly obey? There was only one way to find out, test her submission.
AR: Who is your heroine and what are some of the conflicts she faces?

AR: Who is your heroine and what are some of the conflicts she faces?
RM: Araminta, newly married and not very happy with her new husband. He has secrets… or so he thinks. She has to try and make him realize she is more than enough woman for him… in every way. The fact she has secrets that he doesn't know about could maybe cause problems, but she's strong minded and will sort everything out.

AR: Who is the hero and what conflicts does he face?
RM: Felton, Lord Dalrey. He's had to marry, and is sure his new wife won't 'asssist' him in the ways he demands. Therefore, he's decided to have Ara as a dutiful wife and attend to his needs in other ways. Is he mistaken?
AR: Where did you get the idea for this story or series? Who or what was your inspiration?

RM: I love writing Regency, and I like to explore the less than conventional relationships that excited at the time. I decided to set the series in a house that caters for people who need more than the ordinary lifestyle offered. All monitored, all consensual and most of all, safe and secret, unless you need it.
AR: As a reader, what kind of books do you like to read?
AR: As a reader, what kind of books do you like to read?
RM: Very mixed. If you looked at my kindle you'd know that. I'm an avid reader and the birth of the E book has meant I can now take clothes on holiday as well as books. I love crime and mystery, most sorts of romance, and biographies. I'll ty most things, except full on sci-fi and horror—I'm a wuss.

Be Warned: sex toys, spanking, bondage
Great interview!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the interview. I'm learning to have a greater appreciation for more historically based novels.
