Multi-Tasking Barbie

When I was a kid and people asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, my answer used to be "I want to be a part-time actress, and singer, and model, and doctor, and detective, and president, and . . . " I wanted to do it all!

You would have thought that by the time I become an adult, I would settle down a bit and pick one. But nope! As I'm currently working the two jobs that take me out of the house, I find myself thinking what if I made enough money to go back to school and get a degree in psychology. That is something I would really like to do.

Being the multi-tasker that I am, this past week I added yet another job to my list of current professions.

I am an insurance agent, a waitress on weekends, an author, and now a review coordinator for Evernight Publishing.

I'm the person who sends out review copies to various publishers and I then wait for those reviews to come in so that our authors would get to brag about how much those lovely reviewers loved their work. It doesn't pay much but I'm having fun with it!

  3. LOL, I know how you feel. I'm an editor, author, vet assistant, and now work to rehabilitate horses. Just try not to overbook yourself, and congrats again on your job with EP!

  4. I don't know if you ever watched the show, but there's an old show by the Wayans brothers called In Living Color. One of the skits they did was an exaggeration of jobs held by a Jamaican family. After listing your many jobs, you would seriously fit right in :-)
