A Whole Year Later

Today marks the one year anniversary that I've been working in insurance. When I started at that job, I knew absolutely nothing about insurance, selling, or the law. Now, I could say that I know a thing or two.

A lot has happened in that year. I got my license to sell personal and commercial insurance, I got divorced from my ex, moved into the apartment in mamma's basement, and now I'm planning to start my life over again.

Normally, after working a year in a certain place, I start thinking about where my life is going and where I want it to go. This time around, I'm in a respectable field as opposed to my prior job (waitressing). I also know a lot about insurance.

My goal now is to get my life and health license so I could expand on what I could sell. Wish me luck with that!

  2. It seems as if you've been through the worst and now it's time to grow. It kind of reminds me of a seashore. The tides wipe the sand clean and now it's up to you to build your castle on a pristine landscape.

I'm glad things are turning around for you. You deserve a break.
